"Lou" by Dave Mullins.
Filmmaker and Animator Dave Mullins takes audiences on a journey into the world of a magical creature called Lou. Without saying a single world of dialogue, Lou manages to connect with it's audience on two levels. One, Lou's vigilante like characteristics when confronting the school bully from afar, and two, the bully's backstory of having the one toy he loved ripped away from him.
It's beautifully crafted animation and art style aligns perfectly with it's publishes Pixar's universe and reminds audiences of the world of Toy Story. It's ending is bittersweet and perfect, making you think about what the actual moral was; Do we live for a purpose or does our purpose show it's face is mysterious places.
